Theresa Phondo brings "Bwera" to life with Beracah in a visual that marks a new chapter in her solo career. The song, which opens her project "KINGDOM ENERGY" now has an official music video that gives fans a fresh way to experience the track. This release continues the momentum Phondo has built through her career.

The project, released on September 22, is an eight-track collection from Hills Capital distributed exclusively through ONErpm. It features collaborations with Beracah, Mag44, Pompi, and Eli Njuchi. "Bwera" is the song in the sequence making it the perfect introduction to the project and highlighting the chemistry between Phondo and Beracah.

This isn't the first time the two have worked together. They previously linked up on "Too Much," a track from Phondo's 2025 project "Faith Hope Love," which also included Praise Umali, Dr Namadingo, Miracle Chinga, Esther Chungu, Kelvin Sings, Esther Chitheka and Paul Kachala.

For Phondo, the latest release arrives during an active period in her solo career.

She is set to host her solo headline concert on October 31 at the BICC Amphitheatre in Lilongwe. The show will feature Nigerian gospel artist Adah Ehi and Zambia's Pompi also joining the set. Beracah, Praise Umali, Paul Kachala, and Esther Chitheka will also perform, making the event a major celebration of her work and growing influence.

Phondo's solo catalogue has continued to grow alongside her expanding reach beyond Malawi. In November 2024, the Gospel singer reported that she had signed a distribution deal with ONErpm. Phondo said the partnership gave her global reach, stronger marketing, and better ways to monetize her music. That deal helped launch "Faith Hope Love" in September 2025 as a nine-track project under an exclusive licence to ONErpm, and now into the latest "KINGDOM ENERGY" cycle.

"Bwera" has also started to register locally alongside the project's other releases. On the September 23 Apple Music chart for Malawi, the track sits at No. 4, while "Chipako" featuring Eli Njuchi is at No. 3. "Dzina," "Chuma," "No Gwede," "Kingdom Energy," and "Big God" also appear in the Top 20.

JustMalawi's daily chart shows success with "Bwera" inside the Top 20. "Chipako," "No Gwede," "Dzina," "Kingdom Energy," and "Honeyy" also appear on the chart.

That early movement gives the project several entry points for listeners, but the decision to open with "Bwera" makes the Beracah collaboration the first introduction to KINGDOM ENERGY.

With "Bwera" now receiving an official visual, the opening track gets a release moment of its own as Phondo continues building around her latest project and toward her first headline concert on October 31.
