Malawian Afrobeats/Dancehall artist Eli Njuchi has placed all eight tracks from his latest project "MAGA" inside the top eight of Apple Music Malawi, with "Aye" and "Cross" also receiving official music videos.

Eli Njuchi released "MAGA" on 25 September, adding an eight-track project to a catalogue that already includes "23 (The Jordan Year)" and "Cifu."

Within days of its release, every song from "MAGA" had moved into the top eight of Apple Music Malawi.

The latest chart update has "VIP" featuring Ca$ino and Em EL at number one, followed by "Cross," "Aye," "Benz," "Kuche" featuring Teddy Makadi, "Mankhwala," "Usandisiye" featuring Kineo Madness and "Ma Diva." The positions have shifted between daily updates, but all eight tracks remain inside the top eight.

"MAGA" brings together solo cuts and collaborations with Kineo Madness, Ca$ino, Em EL, and Teddy Makadi. The project opens with "Aye" before moving through "Benz," "Mankhwala," "Usandisiye," "Cross," "VIP," "Kuche" and "Ma Diva."

The collaborations connect the project with several names from Malawi's current music scene. Teddy Makadi appears on "Kuche," Kineo Madness joins Njuchi on "Usandisiye," while Ca$ino and Em EL feature on "VIP." Production credits across the project include Sispense, J Mass, Yoba, Tricky Beatz, and Sxvage across the project.

"MAGA" follows Njuchi's previous projects, "23 (The Jordan Year)," released in 2024, and "Cifu," which arrived in 2025. "Cifu" went on to win Album/EP of the Year at the 2025 UMP Awards, while Njuchi also received the Best Afrobeats/Fusion Act award.

The new project also arrives with two official music videos. "Aye," the opening track on "MAGA," received its official video on 25 September, the same day the project was released. "Cross" also received an official video that day.

The release comes as Afrobeats and dancehall continue to form part of Malawi's evolving contemporary sound, with artists incorporating broader African influences through local languages, collaborations, and their own musical approaches. Njuchi has been part of that movement, with his catalogue moving across Afrobeats, dancehall, and other sounds within Malawi's current music landscape.

On "MAGA," that connection is reflected through the project's collaborations, while the response on Apple Music has placed the full tracklist at the top end of the local chart.

With all eight tracks currently occupying the top eight positions on Apple Music Malawi, "MAGA" has quickly become the latest project from Njuchi to register across the local streaming chart.
